It has caffeine so I’m allowed to review it!... is what I’m telling Matt and Cameron when they ask why the hell I’m reviewing iced tea. Honestly, I bought this at the gas station thinking it would have more than 24mg in the bottle, so I could see other people thinking the same thing. Either way, should be a fun one to review so let’s get into it.
Taste isn’t as strong as you’d expect with the electric, neon green color. It really does taste like a 50/50 mix of iced tea and watermelon juice. The watermelon gives it a really refreshing flavor while the iced tea gives it a little bit of bite. I think if you like either half of the combination you’ll like this beverage, and if you like both you’ll love it.
Fun bottle with a nautical theme going on on both sides - left side blue, right side green. Since it’s a bottle, the electric green color is the first thing that catches your eye. Definitely don’t need to pour this drink to get a read on what it looks like. Has very low carbonation.
Like I said, only 24mg of caffeine so not much to see here. Basically an energy drink for ants.
It’s an unexpectedly excellent combination, and that’s probably why it’s been around for a while. Pick it up on a road trip or just as a mid-day refreshment, but don’t expect a kick from this guy. 5.25 overall from me.
