Introduction
Back for another Bang since there's an endless supply to their lineup. Usually I can get a sense of what to expect from the name (e.g. Key Lime Pie, Cherry Blade Lemonade), but Star Blast is not helping me out on that front. Here goes nothing.
Taste

Wow. I knew it was going to be sweet (because it's bang, duh) but even this threw me for a loop. Not only does it have the classic sweet aftertaste, it's sweet all the way through; pre, during, and after. I literally racked my brain trying to figure out what it tastes like because it was giving me deja vu... Strawberry Hi-Chew!! It tastes exactly like the chewy, fruity candy you can get at gas stations and convenience stores. With that said, it does taste like a really sweet (if you haven't picked up on the fact that it's sweet) strawberry. There might be some other fruit mixed in but that's the dominating force.
Appearance

I'll give a 6.5 since I do like the red, white, and blue design. Other than that it's just the typical bang logo. Carbonation seems higher than the typical bang but that's probably inside my own head.
Kick

Kick is the prototypical Bang energy blend. 300mg of caffeine, with COQ10, Aminos, and Creatine. Kickass if you've got something to do, probably over the top if you're just hanging out.
Conclusion
I like it, and I don't think it's just because of the nostalgia coming back from getting Strawberry Hi-Chews as a kid. It's super sweet, which I've come to expect from Bang, so if you're cool with that and the powerful strawberry flavor I think you'll enjoy drinking this beverage. I'll knock it for the same thing I knock every other drink with overpowering sweetness/flavor - re-drinkability. I could see Star Blast as a once a month treat, but with the strong taste it's not something I'd reach for too frequently.
