Introduction
My reaction when I saw this can in the store was literally “what the hell is this??” It’s a cool can and I have no idea what Yaupon is. So let’s try it out.
Taste

Taste is a 5/10 for me. I actually like the individual elements - the lime, the coconut, and what I understand to be the Yaupon isn’t bad. But together it’s just not that enjoyable of an energy drink.
It has a slight bitter taste that I’d best compare to Yerba Mate.
Appearance

Like I said the can is neat. The font catches the eye and I like that they’re repping (their roots?) Austin Texas.
Kick

120mg of caffeine and 50 calories. Felt a lil boost - what you’d expect from 120mg.
Conclusion
I’m gonna be honest. Don’t try this unless you like some weird shit. IPAs, tea, generally weird drinks. If you’re thinking yes that’s me, then give it a try and report back. I need to find the one guy or gal who this was made for.
