Celsius Heat Inferno Punch is extremely punchy. I am usually not a huge fan of punch flavored energy drinks, but this is quite delicious. Most are overloaded with too much sweetener in my opinion, but this punch flavor suits the carbonation level and energy blend of Celsius Heat quite nicely. 300mg of caffeine (18.75mg/floz) in combination with the bold flavor deliver a kick superior to most other Celsius Heats. Overall, this is one of the better Celsius flavors.
The kick and taste are both well above average. While not spectacular, these are two particularly important boxes to check when ranking energy drinks. The can is clean with a bright red selection over a light greyish-white background. Celsius cans all look exactly the same with the exception of the color chosen over the off-white background, and this variant of red suitably fits the look. The kick would be superior with a higher level of carbonation, but I believe that would worsen the taste since punch is already pungent. The mouth feel is great, and Celsius Heats in general have really been growing on me lately.
It is still a punch flavor. While it is great for punch, it is still not an optimal selection for any energy drink in my opinion. People who love punch may give this a 9.5+/10. For me, 8.1/10 is generous. Besides personal preference in taste, there is not much to dislike about Celsius Heat Inferno Punch.
Celsius Heat Inferno Punch is delicious for a punch beverage. That being said, it is still punch flavored and therefore the taste is capped in my opinion. The kick is surprisingly high for being so smooth. With a moderate level of carbonation, the bold flavor is needed to really excite your taste buds. Celsius Heat in general is supposedly a healthier option than most other 300mg energy drinks as well. In the end, there is not much to dislike about Celsius Heat Inferno Punch.
