Intro
C4 Freedom Ice has to be one of my favorite energy drinks. I have only had it once, but the sweet frozen bomb pop taste is unique and unrivaled. It has a very strong taste, and can be used for mixing and chasing as well. After an open one was in the fridge for two days and went a bit flat, it still tasted great. Overall, this taste is something you will not find in your run-of-the-mill energy drink.
Upside
The taste is perfectly sweet in my opinion. It really brings out the bomb pop flavor. The caffeine content is also perfect with 200mg per can (12.5mg/floz), so it will wake you up without making you feel jittery. The mouthfeel is great, and I continue to be impressed with every sip. This truly is a uniquely delicious energy drink.
Downside
C4 Freedom Ice may be too sweet for some. I love sweeter beverages as long as they do not contain excessive sweetener, but I can see how this may be overwhelming for some. It also tastes mildly artificial, which could be a turnoff as well. This ends the downside section as I genuinely cannot see how anyone would not enjoy the taste or mouthfeel of C4 Freedom Ice.
Upshot
C4 Freedom Ice is one of my favorite energy drinks. The taste is incredible and unique, the caffeine content is perfect, and the mouthfeel is comparable to Monster and Reign. I continue to be pleasantly surprised with how delicious C4 energy drinks are, and C4 Freedom Ice may just be the best of them all.
