Intro
BODYARMOR EDGE Tropical Chaos has one soul purpose, and that is to give you a small midday boost while also keeping you hydrated. It does its job quite well, but by no means rivals energy drinks in terms of kick. I enjoyed the flavor of Tropical Chaos, even though I could not make out the exact taste. It is the perfect midday boost if you are engaged in a vigorous activity.
Upside
BODYARMOR EDGE Tropical Chaos is refreshing and tastes like any other Bodyarmor. The additional caffeine does not alter the taste in the slightest, and you feel better after drinking one. While this is obviously not an energy drink, it does its job of hydrating while providing a midday boost extremely well.
Downside
The obvious downside is the kick. With no real bite and only 100mg of caffeine (5mg/floz), it is certainly not going to hit you like a truck. This is not a drink for energy drink fanatics. It should be considered more of a mild energy supplement than any sort of legit energy drink.
Upshot
BODYARMOR EDGE Tropical Chaos is refreshing, but it is really difficult to make out its flavor. It does not have much of a kick, but you will feel slightly more alert and hydrated upon completion. While BODYARMOR EDGE Tropical Chaos is not a true energy drink, it is still quite enjoyable to have amidst a hard day's work.
